The Samsung Galaxy S 9 Camera Features Explained
Samsung led an extraordinary tech preparation session on the Samsung Galaxy S9 camera highlights. They exhibited the new Galaxy S9 camera highlights like Super Slow-mo, f/1.5 low light ability, and the new AR Emoji include.
Super Slow-Mo
Both smartphones can hold company with a brand new Super Slow-mo feature. It allows you to report slow-motion 720p video at 960 independent agency. better of all – the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones willmechanically word action and start recording after you favor it to.
There square measure some caveats although. it is limited to twenty photographs per video, with about zero.2 seconds of recording and six seconds of playback for each slow-mo shot.
AR Emoji
Apple’s Animoji launched only three months ago, but there’s already a competitor. Samsung introduced AR Emoji on the Galaxy S9, and it brings the same fun and whimsical animated avatars to Android—with a few tricks that iPhone X doesn’t have. So which one is better? Let’s take a look. Animoji vs. AR Emoji: Creation Apple and Samsung take vastly different approaches to their emoji. On iPhone X, they live in Messages, and you can either create a 10-second video or a sticker within the app. On the Galaxy S9, AR Emoji live in the camera app, and you need to create a video or a sticker there before you can send it to your friends. AR Emoji videos can be any length you want, though the file sizes can get pretty big. Animoji videos, meanwhile, are limited to 10 seconds. Samsung also lets users create custom emoji, and it’s here where the two services greatly differ. The S9 will scan your face to create a kind of animated Bitmoji, which you can then tweak via a series of options and sliders. To create one, you need to launch the camera app, swipe over to AR Emoji, and tap Create Emoji. Then the camera will scan your face like Face ID does, and once you snap your selfie, it will spit out your cartoon likeness. From there, you can tweak your gender, skin tone, hair, eyewear, and clothing.
Galaxy note 9 seems to be the hottest mobile of third quarter of the year. As it has almost become customary, Samsung launches a new mobile of Note series in third or fourth quarter of every year, which is not only bigger in size than the flagship Galaxy phone of the company but also comes with upgraded software, more pristine looks and a stylus pen. Speaking of S Pen, it is a premium technology, which is unique to Samsung and even the mobile moghul Apple has not yet been able to equip iPhone with this.
The Note 9 is now available for sale and its S Pen stylus is much more refined and chic than the old S Pen and hang on it’s not just a simple S Pen stylus, it is empowered with Bluetooth and that definitely takes it on another higher level. If you have loved the stylus before, you’re gonna love it more as the new stylus has remote sensitivity also and you can use the stylus to remote control many functions of the phone.
Galaxy Note 9 leaves almost nothing to be desired as it has a large 6.4 inch display, a 12MP dual rear camera with artificial intelligence and many other enhancements and an 8MP front camera. As for CPU, its US version is studded with a Snapdragon 8845 CPU, while the international version is all set to dazzle with Exynos, which is Samsung’s own CPU. Here it’s worth mentioning that though like always the flagship mobile of Note series has been powered with the same CPU as that of Galaxy S series i.e. Galaxy S9, the Note 9 can clearly boasts a bigger and revamped display, elegant design, vast storage capacity, cameras with colossal capabilities and the S Pen.
The most distinctive feature that arguably sets it apart from Galaxy S9 is the S Pen Stylus as except for the stylus, you would definitely have a hard time thinking a viable reason to spend huge money on it and to not buy Galaxy S9 which you can lay your hand on in far less amount of money.
Camera features
The Note 9 is going to have an “intelligent camera” with dual apertures, dual cameras, dual optical image stabilization, a dual pixel image sensor, and 960 FPS (frames per second) slo-mo video recording (which means you slow down your video up to 40 X with a 24 FPS output) along with a wide range of other improvements that should make film making and photography better, like the option to automatically adjust the white balance based on what you’re photographing (which it uses machine learning and image recognition to decide).
You can even take photos using the included S pen, which we see as a huge opportunity for long exposure shots and night photography with the Note 9 mounted on a tripod. They even say on their website that “the telephoto and wide-angle lenses shoot the whole scene (even when you’re zoomed in)” - whoa!
Fortnite and gaming
The most common game on the world right away, Fortnite, has teamed up with Samsung. Fornite is obtainable for a restricted time completely to Samsung Galaxy users.
3.Apple I phone XS MAX/XS
Apple I phone XS MAX/XS |
After months of wait, Apple finally announced its 2018 iPhone lineup. iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are the new successors to the iPhone X.
The new iPhone’s offer enhancement in performance, display, camera, battery life, and many other aspects. So here’s everything you need to know about the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
iPhone XS And iPhone XS Max: Design And Display
iPhone XS inherits design aesthetics from its predecessor coupled with few fine refinements.
The smartphones have an entire metal and glass construction and the device looks premium. These two iPhone’s come with IP68 water and dust resistance and are available in gold, silver, and space grey colour variants.
Camera features
The new iPhone’s offer drastic improvements in terms of camera performance. The new iPhone XS sports a 12MP wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture and telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Camera module also includes dual optical image stabilization, optical zoom, six‑element lens, and quad-LED true tone flash.
Apart from improvements in hardware, Apple has equally focused on image processing and software aspects.
4. Huawei P20 Pro
Huawei P20 Pro |
Huawei's P-series of handsets has always had a focus on the camera, and this year is no different. The P20 Pro is certainly the first of its kind, offering a triple-lens camera that consists of an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, a 20-megapixel monochrome lens, and a 40-megapixel RGB lens.
Announced last month, the handset is the first in nearly five years to offer a camera with such a resolution, since Nokia released the legendary Lumia 1020 Windows Phone with a 41-megapixel camera. Huawei uses Leica lenses in its premium cameras, and the images come out great.
There's only one problem, which is that the P-series isn't sold in the United States, much to the dismay of, well, me. I've always loved the P-series, and the P10 was one of my favorite phones last year.
Other than the camera, the internals are similar to other flagships that Huawei has introduced this year, like the Mate 10 Pro and the Honor View10, with a Kirin 970 chipset. The SoC includes a Neural Processing Unit, which allows it to do AI-related tasks like how the camera can see what it's looking at and adjust settings accordingly.
I absolutely love the camera on this phone, for a number of reasons. It includes three sensors: a 40-megapixel RGB lens, a 20-megapixel monochrome lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The RGB sensor is 1/1.7" with an f/1.8 aperture, so the low-light performance is excellent. But the monochrome sensor is great too, and the black and white photos still look much better than if you took a color photo and converted it.
It's weird, because, up till I scan iFixit's teardown of the P20 professional, i would assumed that this French telephone, just like the P20 fat-free, had a slot for storage growth. But it does not.I don't perceive this. It's either AN example of maximum penny-pinching, some type of odd engineering compromise, or a colossal oversight on Huawei's half. regardless of the reason, the truth is that those cameras with all their megapixels of resolution area unit progressing to burn through the 128GB of inbuilt storage in no time.
Your next smartphone may need a fingerprint detector in-built to the screen.
Shipments of phones victimisation the technology can hit one hundred million by 2019, in keeping with a returnweekday from money services firm IHS Markit. that is over 10 times the 2018 forecast of nine million.
Under-display fingerprint sensors "allow phones to own full-screen displays with Associate in Nursing invisible fingerprint feature," IHS Markit aforementioned in an exceedingly statement. corporations like Apple, Samsung and Huawei have centered on providing phones with edge-to-edge displays. A fingerprint reader integrated into the screen permits phone vendors to shrink bezels whereas still keeping biometry just like the fingerprint reader handilyset on the phone's face.

5. OnePlus 6T
OnePlus 6T |
OnePlus 6T will be presented at an event in New York on October 30, as the second flagship this year of the Chinese company.
As usual, it is expected that the OnePlus 6T is not a totally drastic change compared to the OnePlus 6 ($ 529 on Amazon), but it would bring important new features.
It has been rumored that OnePlus 6T would have three rear cameras, but the latest leaks have indicated that it would have only two.
These are the main characteristics and specifications that the company has confirmed.

But a hundred million phones with this sort of technology may be a thumping leap. There area unit solely 2 phones you'll be able to purchase with in-screen fingerprint readers: the Vivo X20 and UD, that sells primarily in China, and therefore the Porsche style Huawei Mate RS, a limited-edition model with 3 cameras on the rear that sells for the equivalent of $2,100, £1,500 and AU$2,700.
Right now, phones with in-screen fingerprint sensors area unit a trend waiting to happen. For the past year, eachiPhones and Samsung phones are reported to feature the technology. Analysts at IHS Markit believe the tide canflip apace.

6.Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3
6.Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3
Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 |
The Google Pixel 3 XL review is live – it's probably not meant to be, but it is. One naughty site has clearly been given the handset early and has apparently accidentally set its review live, revealing everything from camera and screen to battery life and processor with plenty of pictures and a release date too.The Google Pixel 3 XL review on mobile-review not only shows off the phone from every angle in photos but it also reveals the results of the camera in sample pictures too. As you can probably see, the rumours were right, it's a single lens rear camera with fingerprint sensor on the back. And on the front is that notch screen also leaked plenty so far. Check out the pics for every detail. As you can see, the handset itself is pretty similar to the last generation in terms of design, only with that new 6-inch+ notch OLED display added into the mix. The 12MP camera results prove darker than the Huawei P20 Pro, but clarity is rich and the balance of contrast is excellent when you consider this is a single lens snapper. The chip running the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 but not in its pure form, instead it has been adapted and upgraded specifically for this handset, claims the review. This is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, on the base model at least. That should make it powerful enough to support a "new generation of VR due out in 2019 or later", says the leakster. And that's despite having a smaller 3,450 mAh battery than the last generation of handset.
Excitingly the leak also reveals that Google is working on four versions of the new Pixel with at least two due out this October. But there should also be a foldable Pixel soon followed by a more distant 2020 prototype.
The Google Pixel 3 XL should cost from $749, aka about £585. But that will include, the source says, the new Google Pixel Buds which will sell separately for $159, or £123. Camera features
Over its last two iterations, the Google Pixel’s camera was practically celebrated as a star quarterback, set to outperform the rest of the pack by a mile. Naturally, there were monumental expectations for what the Pixel 3’s camera would be capable of. I’ve had the pleasure of testing not only the Pixel 3’s shooter, but also the one on the new iPhone XS, side-by-side to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
While Google is still confident about putting out seriously good photos through a single camera, the iPhone relies on a dual camera setup to rival the Pixel. Before I dive into the nitty-gritty of these great phone cameras, here are their specifications:
Rear Camera:
- The Pixel 3/3 XL:12.2-megapixel, f/1.8
- The iPhone XS/ XS Max: 12-megapixel, f/1.8 + 12-megapixel telephoto, f/2.4, 2x optical zoom
Front camera:
- The Pixel 3/3 XL: 8-megapixel standard, f/1.8 + 8-megapixel wide-angle (97-degrees field of view), f/2.2
- The iPhone XS/ XS Max: 7-megapixel, f/2.4
First things first
Both these phones take great pictures, thanks to the wonders of computational photography. However, you’ll notice subtle differences in their results, because of the different sensors and post-processing methods for each device.
All the photographs you see here have been shot using each phone’s stock camera apps; however, I used Musecam, a third-party iOS app to take RAW format photos (which preserve more image information than compressed, ready-to-share JPEGs) on the iPhone.Camera comparison in different situations
Daylight: Most photos captured in daylight by both devices retain a lot of detail and sharpness. However, there are visible differences between them when you look at them on a laptop screen or an external monitor. Photos taken from the iPhone seem brighter, and photos taken from the Pixel seem to rely on contrast for dramatic effect.
7.Apple Iphone xr
Apple Iphone xr |
The last of Apple’s three handset releases for 2018 is here; the Apple iPhone XR. This lower cost alternative from the XS and XS Max gives iPhone buyers an excellent standard smartphone, without the £1,000 price tag! With a lot of features on offer, this handset may be the best choice for many iPhone users. Here’s a roundup of what we consider to be the best features of the iPhone XR.
Display and Performance
The iPhone XR encapsulates a liquid retina display with the most advanced LCD screen in the industry within another sleek and stylish handset. The screen stretches into the corners to fill the 6.1 inch display for beautiful, edge-to-edge viewing. The glass is durable, water and dust resistant too.
The intelligent A12 bionic chip is both smart and powerful, hosting Apples next generation Neural Engine. This makes for a speedier, smoother and overall fluid experience in all you do on your smartphone.
There is not much to write home about in terms of the difference between the S8 and the new S9 Galaxy. The S9 has disappointed some Samsung enthusiasts by not incorporating the fingerprint sensor on the screen as we have seen with the Vivo X20 Plus UD. Despite that fact, the specs on its screen are nothing short of high-end.
Camera features
Apple’s most affordable smartphone of 2018 – the iPhone XR (review) – has defeated Pixel 2 to be the best single-camera smartphone out there. As per DxOMark, the cameras of the XR scored 103 points for still photography and 96 points for videos to nail an overall score of 101 points. For those unaware, DxOMark is a world-renowned camera reviewer and its benchmarks are held in high regard.
The results have put the iPhone XR in the fifth position, ahead of Samsung Galaxy S9 (99 points) and Pixel 2 (98 points), in the DxOMark list. Talking about the specifications, the handset comes with a 12-megapixel camera sensor at the back with 1.4-micron pixel, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, PDAF, and a dual-tone quad-LED flash. At the front, it features a 7-megapixel TrueDepth shooter for selfies and video calling.
8.LG V40 Thinq
LG V40 Thinq |
LG's officially taken the wraps off its latest premium smartphone, the LG V40 ThinQ. While in many ways it's taking the standard recipe for a premium 2018 Android handset, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it's in the camera space that LG is really taking it to its competition.
The LG V40 ThinQ is LG's first phone to feature five cameras, with 2 front-facing and 3 rear-facing cameras. At the front, there are 8MP and 5MP cameras for selfies with a depth of field, but it's around the back that LG's hoping the V40 ThinQ will really stand out.
There's a 12MP f/1.5 sensor with 1.4μm sized pixels, a serious jump up from the light sensing capabilities of the LG G7 ThinQ. That's matched with a 16MP f/1.9 super wide angle lens for your landscape photography needs and a 12MP f/2.4 telephoto lens for zoom and portrait photography modes.
It's a very different take to that of the triple-lens-equipped Huawei P20 Pro, where a mix of very high megapixel count and monochrome lenses make up its photographic muscle. LG's claim is that the LG V40 ThinQ is capable of a triple preview feature, allowing you to see how each lens is capturing a scene in real time. You can then choose the lens that suits you best, or capture all three as either individual shots or a stitched together GIF that moves between each lenses' take.
As a ThinQ-branded product, it's also got AI-assisted camera features as part of LG's ongoing commitment to AI across its entire product range. We recently talked to Dr Peter Pyungchul Kim from LG about how the company sees the AI landscape evolving.
Like V-series phones before it, the LG V40 ThinQ features an OLED display. It's a 6.4-inch panel with a notable notch at the top. On the audio front, like the LG G7 ThinQ, it features a quad DAC for better audio performance, and unlike many premium flagships, there's still a full headphone jack present.
LG will ship the LG V40 with Android 8 ("Oreo") on board, which is slightly disappointing for a late-2018 flagship, and especially as it's all but certain that Google will launch the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL next week, both running Android 9 ("Pie").
LG Australia hasn't confirmed local pricing or availability for the LG V40 ThinQ, but it's set to go on sale in the US from 18 October through a range of carriers for between $US900 and $US980. That should suggest pricing around the $1,300 mark when and if the LG V40 ThinQ launches in Australia.
Display and Performance
On the display front, the smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch P-OLED display. With this size, the smartphone looks comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the iPhone XS Max. In its already vibrant OLED display, the smartphone features Quad-HD+ resolution in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. This contributes to the pixel density of 537PPI. So the contents on the display will look really sharp.
The phone also has a notch on the top to accommodate the dual selfie camera, earpiece, and various sensors. However, unlike the iPhones, the notch is narrow on the size.
Since it is a flagship phone, it also features Snapdragon 845 chipset like all the flagship Android smartphones of 2018. There is also a 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage alongside. So with this setup, we can expect a top-tier performance from the phone. The phone has also allocated a dedicated SD card slot if the provided internal storage turns out insufficient.
Camera features
As mentioned earlier, the phone has five cameras in total. So the camera is the unique selling point of the phone. LG V40 ThinQ embraces a triple camera setup at the back aligned in a horizontal configuration. Among the three, the normal or the standard one comes with 12MP resolution, f/1.5 aperture, 3-axis OIS, PDAF & Laser autofocus. The second camera with a 16MP resolution features ultrawide lens, which increases the field of view to 107-degrees. The third one or the telephoto camera comes with a 12MP resolution, f/2.4 aperture and features OIS for the stabilization. The telephoto lens on the phone is also capable of capturing images with the lossless zooming up to 2x.
9.Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus
Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus |
There is not much to write home about in terms of the difference between the S8 and the new S9 Galaxy. The S9 has disappointed some Samsung enthusiasts by not incorporating the fingerprint sensor on the screen as we have seen with the Vivo X20 Plus UD. Despite that fact, the specs on its screen are nothing short of high-end.
The Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1440×2960 resolution. That is about 567 pixels per inch; guaranteed to give you super-crisp and clear viewing. The screen ratio is 18.5:9 with the top bezel being slimmer than the bottom bezel; this designed allowed Samsung to fit the same size (5.8-inch) display into a smaller body than that of the Galaxy S8.
If you are familiar with the Infinity Display design on the S8, you will feel right at home with the new S9 as the design is the same. Like we said earlier, there is not much to write home about when it comes to design; the Galaxy S9 simply mimics its predecessor; albeit with some minor improvements here and there.
Both phones have the glass back, a rounded display at the front and slim bezels; Samsung is trying to merge the screen into the body seamlessly. Some of the improvements Samsung says the S9 has over S8 include iris scanner hole being well hidden, and less bezel at both the top and bottom of the display.
When the display turns off, it is now much darker than what we see on the S8. The S8 also received a lot of criticism for having the fingerprint sensor placed too close to the camera. With the S9, Samsung has moved it a bit further below the camera, with a reasonable distance between the two. Making it hard for you to accidentally touch the camera when you go to swipe your fingerprints.
Camera features
Changed the words ‘variable aperture’ to ‘dual aperture’ instead, which is more accurate. Added a mention about the S8 series and Note8’s f/1.7 apertures. Added a short comparison between super slow-motion resolutions.
The headline feature for the S9 and S9+ camera is its lens, which switches between f/1.5 and f/2.4. The S9 and S9+ share the same wide-angle main camera, which is the one with the dual apertures. This main camera captures 12MP images using a 1/2.55-inch sensor, with a pixel size of 1.4 microns. The S9 comes with this main camera only, but the S9+ also comes with a second camera for zoom.
The S9+ is Samsung’s first ‘S’ series smartphone with a dual camera system, but it’s not the company’s first. That would be last year’s Note8. The S9+’s zoom, or telephoto, camera also captures 12MP photos. But it has a smaller sensor that measures 1/3.4“, with a pixel size of 1 micron. Its lens has a fixed aperture of f/2.4. The sensor and pixel sizes for both cameras are similar to the Galaxy S8 and Note8 cameras.
10.Sony Xperia XZ3
Sony Xperia XZ3 |
The Xperia XZ3 has an impressive set of specs, from performance through to camera and screen capability. Sony has put their BRAVIA TV technology into the screen, with an OLED display featuring QHD+ resolution. (QuadHD, 1440x2880 pixels). A 3D curved design makes the phone look sleek and stylish.
Inside there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, giving 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, expandable with a MicroSD card up to 512GB. The phone has been designed to cope with multiple applications, including playing memory-demanding games, giving you a smooth and uninterrupted experience when recording videos etc.
On to the most important part for us photographers - the camera. The XZ3 has a 19 Megapixel rear camera with MotionEye technology, enabling it to predict what you want to shoot before you shoot it, with predictive capture. This snaps up to 4 images before and after you press the shutter, letting you choose the best one.
There's a 1/2.3" EXMOR sensor, with an award-winning G 25mm f/2.0 lens on the front. Predictive Hybrid Autofocus can hone in on your subject in as little as 0.03 seconds, and there's also an autofocus burst mode. SteadyShot with 5-axis stabilisation is built-in and a max ISO of 12800 is available for low light images. There is 8x digital zoom - but no optical zoom.
On the front, the XZ3 is no lightweight either with a 13-megapixel selfie camera featuring a 23mm wide angle lens. Sony says this camera is great in low light, and the ability to defocus the background in your shots with a bokeh effect for portraits that stand out. SteadyShot is also built into this camera, which is a rare but good addition.
4K HDR video recording is available, giving you the best clarity and true-to-life colours when capturing scenes.
The phone has a large 3330mAh battery designed to last all day with a variety of adaptive stamina modes. The phone is water resistant and has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen for toughness and scratch resistance.
The dedicated shutter button on the right hand side of the phone is a nice, unique touch that has been present on all Sony's smartphones, and sets them apart from the competition.
The phone lacks a headphone jack and had a USB-C port for charging and transferring images. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC are all built-in, as expected with a premium smartphone such as this. There's also GPS, handy for pinpointing where your images were taken. The fingerprint sensor is on the back underneath the camera, and on the right-hand side underneath the power and volume buttons is a dedicated camera shutter button. When holding the phone landscape, this is right where the shutter on a camera would be, which is a nice touch from Sony that has been consistent throughout all their smartphone models - something that competitors lack. The SIM/memory slot has been moved to the top edge.
So, what are the main differences between the XZ3 and XZ2? Well, they both have the same amount of processing power -in fact, they have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The XZ3 has a slightly better battery capacity and weighs 5g less. The main camera is the same on both, but the front camera has had an upgrade, with the XZ3 featuring a 13 megapixel 23mm wide angle lens compared to a 5-megapixel offering on the XZ2. The screen is now a full 6 inches compared to 5.7 inches on the XZ2 and is QHD+ (2880x1440) as opposed to FullHD+ (1080x2160) on the XZ2.
Display and Performance
The XZ3 is Sony's first phone with an OLED display. You could argue that Sony has slipped a little in the phone display stakes compared to rivals. Even last year's XZ2 had big gaps top and bottom as Samsung, LG and others were shrinking the gaps considerably.
This one goes much further and has way more screen than previous models, even if the chin and forehead are still noticeable. And the display certainly reaches right to the edges on the phone's long sides.
This screen is easily on a par with rival handsets and, more importantly, highly attractive in its own right.
With the arrival of OLED Sony is also somewhat late to the display party, but the company has taken the time to get it right, using knowhow from the Sony TV division, the manufacturer was quick to claim.
And the results are deeply impressive. Pin-sharp, rich and vibrant – well, of course. But with almost no off-axis colour degradation, something many OLED screens suffer from, and outstanding, faithful video playback, the Sony screen really stands out.
That's partly because it upconverts SDR content to an approximation of HDR.
Like rival phones from HTC, LG and others, the screen ratio is 18:9, that's 2:1, and contributes to the phone's physical comfort factor.
Camera features
Unlike many manufacturers, Sony has gone for a single rear camera on this flagship phone. And it's worth noting this camera does not feature the advanced signal processor announced in the spring and found on the Xperia XZ2 Premium.
Even so, the 19-megapixel sensor on the XZ3 is powerful and impressive, with AI smarts. Sony's not alone in using artificial intelligence as an advanced scene mode, for instance, but here there's a focus on items such as Smart Launch. Raise the phone in landscape mode and it automatically launches the camera, with a darkened area round a bright circle. From here, you can touch the circle to shoot, as well as the trigger button at the side of the display. Sony also has a hardware camera shutter button which you can use – Sony is one of few to offer a dedicated button and it's very useful. Though, of course, you can often use other buttons, like a volume button on the iPhone, for instance, to take your shot.
In practice this worked mostly but not always – though my upswing may have been a little over-exaggerated and anyway the prototype had very early software.
The AI is also used for predictive shots, where the camera starts taking frames before you press the trigger, and the AI helps decide what makes a good shot.
